There was once a lady bug
Pulsating and wholesome, in a world so large it purred.
Wings spread spaciously, soaring
Elevation getting higher
Tetrahydrocannabinol, in the grind,
Plunging behind the others in line.

Mentality, the lady bug craved the sky or a leaf to rest her feet.
Carving a deep gashing line, every time a tear started to seep.
But, not this week.

Emotionally, she’s the one to feed.
They come, they leave, leaving her with nothing to eat.
Drained the daring darling is.
Too much needle, too much drip
Skin so torn, it never fails to slip.

Down, sweet lady bug goes.
From the ceiling to the skin,
Sweet scented foam, a razor to sooth
Fighting for life, as she twitches and moans,
Water cannot save the lady bug from the chilling bones.

Off she goes.
Dried off with just a paper towel and placed delicately onto the ground.
In hopes that in a moment or two, she’ll come around.

Please fly one more time,
I beg of thee, on my knees,
Hell bent on seeing you in the trees.

Sweet creature without sin,
I did not mean to come without an offering of peace
Take this cigarette and shot of Gin,
Kiss on the cheek and a whisper from within,
Lady bug, I will meet you again.

Little side story here, that will so lose my metal cred! (that was a joke, haha)
I was taking a shower, doing all that girl stuffs, when I felt this twitching on my leg, I looked down to my surprise, somehow a lady bug had fallen onto my leg from somewhere, and was clinging onto it’s life. Like an idiot (I wasn’t thinking) I thought washing it off in the water would save it. This tiny little lady bug, died in the palm of my hand. I dried it off with a paper towel, got dressed, took it’s little body outside and placed it on the ground gently. Gentle creatures, deserve gentle care. I’m such a sap. >.<

Anyways, this poem is just based on that incident. Had to add my little twists and turns to it. So I hope you enjoy and if you are reading this first, well then, shame on you, and read the write first! ;)
