A Gloomy sensation engulfs the sky,
As millions of minuscule granules trickle down an hourglass.
Running towards the east to make hast with the end of a inferno
That of which burned so intense even the entities of the underworld,
Would gaze in fear of the red sky, blazing above their thrones.
The brass melting at speeds, detrimental.
Blisters from burns form rapidly as if premeditated.
Look into their eyes… see the fear bellowing between the tides.

Can’t they see it on the ground?
It’s all around.
Pick it up! Set it down!
Evaporation prompted by the sun…
Beaming behind the engulfed shrine
Begging! Pleading!
“Let me shine….”
As long dreadful pause comes over,
“Just once”

Tragic it seems, every bird that flies just below the sky
Is instantly incinerated by the wave.
Halos cannot stand a chance up in heaven…
Nor can the wings spread apart to share its majestic grace..

Suddenly confused as if foreseen through dark dreadful dream
Baffled and bathed in a cold sweat laying on a frost like floor.
Arise from the slumber, only to be the witness of the inside of an air tight seal.
Listless and destroyed, while imaging a warm and inviting sun,
